After a hugely successful 2024, the TriWorks East Fortune Duathlon is back again for 2025. We have a great team of creative and innovative organisers who bring their passion and knowledge to create a welcoming, professional and unforgettable race experience.
Here at TriWorks we like to break new ground and by offering Scotland's only draft-legal race and the opportunity to race around a closed motor racing circuit we've created a truly unique event!
We are also offering a non-drafting race which is perfect if you are new to the sport or want to gain more confidence on the bike before joining a draft-legal race.

We are delighted to announce that the 2024 East Fortune Duathlon will be a qualifier for the European Sprint Distance Duathlon Championships in 2025.
To be eligible to qualify you must be either a Core or Ultimate Home Nations member and be a British Citizen. You must also register to qualify before the race via the British Triathlon website.
TriWorks are proud that the East Fortune Duathlon will form part of the Scottish Student Sport Triathlon Championship series in 2024.
Alongside our junior races, we are excited to see the next generation of talent emerging and look forward to some exciting and competitive racing.
Students will receive a £10 discount off their entry fee (must show valid matriculation card at registration).

Location
The race takes place at East Fortune race track (EH39 5JX), approximately 20 miles east of Edinburgh in the East Lothian countryside.
The race track is located on the historic East Fortune airfield and is easily accessible by car with free onsite car parking. Please consider car sharing with other competitors and spectators wherever possible.
Alternatively, there are trains every half an hour from Edinburgh Waverley to the nearby Drem train station.
Course
The Race Village is located inside the East Fortune race track. When heading to the Race Village from the car park please ensure you only cross the race track at the designated crossing point.

Please note that East Fortune airfield is private property and we are very grateful to be allowed its use for our event. This means that unfortunately you will not be able to recce the run or bike routes before the day of the event. Please do not try to access East Fortune airfield other than on the day of the Duathlon.

Medals and T-Shirts
We are conscious of the environmental impact of our event but also aware that you may want to celebrate your achievement of completing the East Fortune Duathlon with a race memento.
For that reason we will only offer a wooden Finisher's Medal if requested on your entry form. If you would prefer not to receive a medal we will instead donate the cost to our charity partner.
Similarly, Race T-Shirts will be available to purchase for those who wish at a cost of £25. The T-shirts are high quality with a unique and vibrant design. An indication of the design can be seen below along with sizing information.
You must enter on or before 31st January 2025 if you wish to be guaranteed a Finisher's Medal or be able to purchase a Race T-Shirt.
